- Description
All frames taken at the Greytown Memorial Park during the Greytown Borough Centennial celebrations. A Māori man wearing a shirt with a strong Māori design on it, is seen with his two small daughters. The smaller one is riding on his shoulders (frame 1). An older woman with a small baby in her lap is seen in frames 2, and 6 to 7. A notice outside a tent reads "Raffle. Iced cake. In aid of the Wairarapa Horse Drawn Vehicle Society" (frame 4); other images relating to the raffle are seen in frames 3 and 10. A young man is wearing a t'shirt with the logo "100 Years. Greytown Rugby" (frame 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
