Description

All views taken in Wellington. They all show building facades, in many cases concentrating on details of windows, decoration, or angles highlighted with light and shade. Frame one shows a corner of the Local Government Building with a new building under construction on the right. Frame two shows the construction, with a view of the Beehive also under construction in the background. The Macarthy Trust building is partially seen in frames 3 & 4. Frames 7 to 9 show part of Stewart Dawson's building with the back of the James Cook Hotel visible behind. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
