Description

All images taken at Kowhai Park in Wanganui. In frame 1 an older man wearing shorts, an open shirt, shoes & socks and a sunhat is walking with a small fair-haired child. Frames 2 and 3 show a man with a toddler wearing reins heading towards the pool; a little girl is standing on a swing in frame 4. Several young Māori children are seen in the shallow pool, some who are older helping toddlers, while several older girls are sitting on the edge. A large Mother Hubbard shoe house climbing sculpture is seen in frame 12. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
