All frames probably taken at Raumati Beach. Families are playing in the sand; A woman and small children are wearing sunhats, some children carrying buckets and spades; two small girls with wet heads are sitting on the sand wrapped in a towel (frames 10 & 11); and a small boy is lying on a towel on the sand. Two people are leaning against a wooden retaining wall, with others visible on a walkway above the wall (frame 8). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
