- Description
All frames probably taken at Raumati Beach. People are lying in the sun, many sheltering below a wooden retaining wall, with a group of older people sitting on a bench seat above the wall. A peep of the northern end of Kapiti Island is seen in frame 1, and the coastline looking towards Pukerua Bay is visble in frame 2. A young woman and her small doaughter are seen in frames 3 to 8; images of ripples in the sand (frames 9 to 11); and in frame 12 a group are looking down at a couple who appear to have caught several flounders. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
