Description

Scenes showing a variety of people in Cuba Street, Wellington. They include (in frame one) a group of four young women, one of whom is pushing an empty push-chair. She is seen again in frame 2 pushing her toddler who is kneeling backwards. A young Māori child is standing beside a pushchair in which a toddler is asleep, and another push-chair in which a small girl wearing a bonnet is standing up looking over the back. Various older people, men and women, are sitting on bench seats in the sun near Hannahs shoe shop and the Masonic Hotel (frames 4 to 7 and 11). In frame 9 a young man wearing shorts and long socks is standing outside Hannahs window which is advertising a sale. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified.
