- Description
All frames possibly taken at the Waikino Music Festival in January 1977. They show large groups in the audience sitting and lying on a grassy paddock in the sun. Frames 1 to 3 show an older man and his wife, he holding an Evening Post newspaper which he sits on in frame 3. Two policemen are standing by a 2ZM van in frames 8 to 10; and a young Māori girl is seen in frames 8 to 12, lying on the ground with a baby bird on a piece of newspaper nestling in grass clippings. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
