- Description
Frames 1 to 10 show groups of Māori men and women, including patched Black Power members, on the lawns in front of Parliament watching demonstrators at the pro abortion rally. Two policemen are watching proceedings in frame 9. Frames 11 and 12 show pro abortion demonstrators, including a woman dressed as "Wonder Woman" (identified later as Vicky Elizabeth Carmichael). Taken during the time Robert Muldoon was Prime Minister and Frank Gill was Minister of Health. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
