- Description
All frames taken in Pigeon Park, Wellington, showing pro abortion and a few anti abortion demonstrators bearing banners and placards. These include "Abortion a woman's right to choose"; "Every mother a willing mother"; "Women unite. Abortion our right"; "Woman's body, woman's choice" "Muldoom" and "Too many women are getting away with murder". Taken during the time Robert Muldoon was Prime Minister and Frank Gill was Minister of Health, who appear in placards. The building Trojan House is visible in frames 1, 6 & 7. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
