Description

All frames taken beside the Manawatu River near Palmerston North, with the Anzac Cliffs on the far side. Most show young Māori on the bank, some of whom have been in the river fully clothed, others in swimsuits. A woman is seen with her toddler (frames 2 to 4); others show spectators on a wide grassy area who have been watching the raft races. All taken during a fun day of raft races. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
