- Description
All frames taken beside the Manawatu River near Palmerston North, with the Anzac Cliffs on the far side. Families, pākehā and Māori paddling, swimming, and in frame 6 and 7 groups in the water with homemade rafts. All taken during a fun day of raft races. Small toddlers are seen with their parents in the water, or paddling and lying in the shallow water at the edge. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
