"Stop the Tour 1976" protest in Wellington

All frames taken during a night event with people protesting against the 1976 rugby tour to South Africa in which the All Blacks finally toured with Māori and Samoan players as "honorary whites." Frames 1 to 3 show a group of men, women and children, possibly outside the Wellington Town Hall, carrying placards which include "The world Watches"; "Apartheid [...] murder"; "Apartheid kills now"; "Legalise paranoia"; and "Reject racist rugby." Two young women with faces painted half black and half white are sitting on steps in frame 4; a man with a mask of an All Black (possibly that of Bryan Williams) is grovelling on his knees at the foot of a man wearing the caricature mask of South African Prime Minister John Vorster (frame 5). A woman is laughing with a man wearing the mask of Bryan Williams (frame 7); a group are linking arms under a banner which reads "For All Rugby Tours."
