All frames taken during a night procession by people protesting against the 1976 rugby tour to South Africa in which the All Blacks finally toured with Māori and Samoan players as "honorary whites." Placards include "Don't patronise apartheid 'sport'"; "Protest aginst black oppression. Stop the tour"; "Oppose apartheid. Stop the tour. VUW HART"; "Whole world watches as N.Z. supports apartheid"; "World says no. NZ says yes"; "Don't play with apartheid"; "Apartheid kills. Play sport with a conscience"; and "Stop racist sport." In frame 5 two women have been identified, Vicky Elizabeth Carmichael (carrying an unknown child), and Deborah Jones. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified.
