"Stop the Tour 1976" protest in Wellington

- Description
All frames show protesters with placards against the 1976 rugby tour to South Africa in which the All Blacks finally toured with dark-skinned players as "honorary whites." They are lining the road (possibly Rintoul Street) with the South Wellington Intermediate School in the background. Placards include "Don't patronise apartheid sport"; "I oppose this tour cos I oppose apartheid"; "Sinners at the stadium"; and "Is white right?". Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
