Frames 1 to 10 show a man and a woman looking at the engine of a Humber car under the raised bonnet. They are reading a manual with the title partially visible "How to make your prs[ent] car last longer." The car is parked across the road from the Newtown Public Library. They are lowering the bonnet in frame 11. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
