Description

Frames 1 to 6 show crowds outside at a fair, probably an A&P show in Upper Hutt. A child is sitting in a pushchair, holding a drink and a toy windmill (frames 1 and 2). Men, women and children, many of them Māori, are seen in the park (frames 3 to 6.) Frames 7 to 12 were taken inside a building, with most focussing on a small Māori boy wearing a large Mexican-style hat. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
