- Description
All frames were taken at a fair, probably an A&P show at Upper Hutt, in the fairground area. Location from an advertisement for Tom Croft Motors (of Fergusson Drive), in frame 8. Men, women and children, many of them Māori, are seen in the grounds, possibly at Trentham Memorial Park. Spectators are seen watching various activities, including families with babies; a woman wearing a Mexican-styled hat (frame 6); groups picnicking; others relaxing in the sun. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
