- Description
In frames one to three several people are qeueing to board a bus near the Wellington railway station. The Beehive (under construction) and the New Zealand Post Office Headquarters building are visible in the background. A small boy is seen inside the railway station in frames 4 to 7. He is looking around, holding two lollipops. A slightly older boy appears to be hiding from him in frames 6 and 7. A young Māori man with a very bushy hairstyle is smoking a cigarette, sitting on a train, in frames 8, 9, 11 and 12, and an older man wearing a hat, smoking and reading a paper is also on the train (frame 10.) Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
