- Description
Participants and spectators at a summer holiday programme as it ends up at the Wellington Zoo. Scenes of families, children and adults wearing fancy dress and face paint. One man with a beard, one of the lead participants in the holiday programme, is wearing a woman's corset, and a woman's hat. He is seen doling out sweets and icecreams to all the children. The zoo's elephant house is seen in frames 2 to 4. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
