Frames one to three show a young boy standing in a water fountain on a stone pedestal with a smaller child wearing a mask on the ground beside him, and several people are seen behind them. They are in a park area near the Wellington waterfront with the Odlin Timber and Hardware building just visible in the background. Hardware Frames 4 to 8 show the end of a wood chopping competition with a man high up on a small plank near the top of the pole he is chopping, finishing in frame 8. Frames 9 to 11 show a man, woman and toddler cuddled together on a sofa with a woven flax bag hanging on the wall behind them.
