The caption reads "The Gov't should send the Frigate Waikato into the French test area… I'm sure the F.O.L. would provide volunteers and Labour M.P.s would be happy to join them" - Labour M.P. for Porirua". Shows a group of smiling National Party politicians waving goodbye to a shipload of Labour Party and Federation of Labour personnel, headed for the nuclear testing zone. Norman Kirk is the ship's captain, with a telescope, and Tom Skinner holds the ship's flag. On the wharf, Robert Muldoon blows kisses to those on board. With him are John Marshall, Minister of Defence David Thomson and Duncan MacIntyre.
