- Date
- 1975
- Reference
- AW-1311
- Description
All frames show different groups on a sunny day at an unidentified playground on an area of wasteland, possibly in the Kilbirnie area (See also frames in AW-1367 showing the same cable reels and climbing frames). Three small children are climbing on a pile of timber offcuts (frames 1 to 3), and they are sitting below a large wooden cable reel in frame 4. A woman is curled up relaxing on a cable reel and a young boy is reading a comic, sitting beside her (frames 4 to 9). A man and three children are sliding down a high wooden slide (frame 11) and a young girl is seen sitting with a small church building partially visible in the background (frame 12.) Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
