- Description
Frames 1 to 3 were taken at Anderson Park, Thorndon, Wellington during a celebrity cricket match in which John Clarke was playing, possibly in aid of Barnardos' charity. He is seen in frame one in the centre of a group of people by the club rooms, a boy behind him wearing a John Clarke t-shirt; and in frame 2 out on the field holding a bat, with onlookers all around the perimeter of the park. (See additional images taken at the same event in AW-1306, AW-1307, AW-1308 and AW-1309.) Frames 4 to 12 were taken at an unidentified playground. A woman is sitting on a large wooden cable reel, with a pile of tyres on a stand beside her. Children are seen on a high wooden slide in frames 8 to 10.
