Description

All frames show people sitting on the grass on the perimeter of Anderson Park, Thorndon, after a cricket match in which John Clarke was a team member (See AW-1306). Various groups include an older couple (frames 1 to 2 and 11 to 12); young families (frames 5 and 6); and young children running across the park. [Occasion possibly a fund raiser for charity Barnardos, as there is a sign reading "Barnardo" hanging on the fence in AW-1308, frame 5.] Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
