Date
1975
Reference

Description

Frames 1 to 4 were taken at the Tauherenikau Racecourse. Two women are seen with their form lists in frames 1 and 2; and a little girl is being held by an older girl, while perched on the top of a fence (frames 3 and 4). Frames 5 to 7 were taken along a gravel road, possibly in the Wairarapa. The environment is flat, a few sheep visible, a row of macrocarpa trees on the left, and a very tall straight tree in the centre of the image (possibly totara.) Frames 8 to 12 were taken at a camping ground (possibly in the Greytown Memorial Park.) A group of young people are pushing a car to start it in frame 8; and are seen in the camping ground (frames 9 to 12.) Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
