- Description
All frames were taken in the Manners Street, Cuba Street area of Wellington. Frame 1 shows two men seated on a concrete wall on the edge of a garden planted with bushes (possibly pate, or patete, with about 7 leaflets). In frame 2 3 young Māori are walking along manners Street, with the Regent Theatre visible in the background. Frame 3 shows a group of men on a construction site with a large concrete mixer on the road; frames 4 to 12 were taken in Cuba Street outside London Bookshop with a group of people watching an unseen activity in Cuba Mall. Frames 5 to 12 are focussing on a young couple, a tall Māori [?] with his shorter European girlfriend. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
