- Description
All frames were taken in the Karangahape Road area of Auckland. In frames 1 to 3, and 5 to 9, two older men are sitting in the sun on a low wall. The man on the left is sharing a drink from a bottle in a brown paper bag with his friend. There is a poster on the wall beside them which reads "Ponsonby People's Union. Dance. $1.00. University Cafe, Friday 18th July, 8pm. Uncle Alberts Orgasmic Orchestra and Beavershot." Frames 4 shows a man pushing an older woman in wheelchair; frames 5, 10 and 11 show people in Karangahape Rd., and frame 12 shows a group of women waiting in the bus shelter on the overbridge. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
