Description: Four images taken by unidentified photographers showing house and garden at 25 Hawkestone Crescent, Thorndon, Wellington circa 1880-1930. People are visible in all of the images. The house and land at 25 Hawkestone Crescent were bought by John Bateman Harcourt in the early 1880s. The house was subdivided in circa 1930. Quantity: 4 b&w original photographic print(s) two with mounts. Provenance: The photographs were part of his father's estate and used to hang in his father's house. Andrew Harcourt is a descendent of J B Harcourt, and son of Ted Harcourt.
