- Description
All views show pedestrians and shoppers at night in Porirua. Frames 1 to 8 were taken inside the Post Office, some views show the counter for sending telegrams, with frames 3 to 5 and 7 showing people queueing at the Post office Savings Bank counter (including a young woman carrying her young daughter.) A young man with an Afro hairstyle is talking to two people in frames 6 and 8. Frames 10 to 12 were taken outside on the pavement, showing a group of Māori men outside a sandwich bar, and frame 12 shows a young family outside a restaurant. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
