"Salt Stones, along with the 'Republican Trees' LP comes from a short period of time in which our modus operandi was to release raw chunks of live sound completely unpolished with all the imperfections intact. I can't remember anything at all about the circumstances of the recording, with the exception of 'None People' which was recorded by Michael Jantz at a show in Milwaukee with Black Eagle Child and Expo 70. None People refers in part to the number of attendees at said show. 'Embryonic Bird Zero' was a early version of what later became 'A Bird's Paradise' on Ephemeroptera III. Originally released as a CDR in an edition of 90 by Stunned Records in a plastic clamshell case wrapped in sari cloth. It was later reissued on tape as part of Stunned's 'Foundation Stones' box set. A raw one. - Andrew creditsreleased 08 August 2008 tagstags: experimental psychedelia Los Angeles"--File host.
