Frames 1 to 6 were taken outside the Wellington Town Hall after a Māori women's conference. Frames 1 to 3 show two men, with frame 3 to 6 showing two Māori women, one of whom is wearing a hei tiki. Frames 8 to 12 were taken in an unidentified cafe with a pool table, and a young man standing at a counter advertising fish and ships. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
