The first three frames show a homeless man lying on a bench outside the Wellington Town Hall. Frames 4 to 12 were taken on Wednesday 24 April 1974, on Abortion Action Day. Protest organised by The Women's National Abortion Action Campaign (WONAAC), photographs taken outside the Wellington Town Hall and Public Library. Banners include "Abortion kills babies," and "Choose life!." Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
