Description

Wellington Harbour and Taranaki Street Wharf. The ship Wild Flamingo is seen in frame 1. Frames 2 to 10 show two young people fishing with fishing lines from Taranaki Wharf in Wellington Harbour. Wellington buildings seen in the background include Victoria University of Wellington (on the left skyline, frames 2-5), Jellicoe Towers (on the right skyline, frames 2, 3 & 5), and the Post Office building on the right, (frames 7 to 10). Frames 11 and 12 are head and shoulders portraits of an unidentified woman wearing a peaked cap and a scarf tucked into her coat collar. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
