Whitirēia (Whāngārā, N.Z.)

One of two wharenui at Whāngārā Marae (Ngāti Konohi), between Gisborne and Tolaga Bay. The other wharenui is named Waho te Rangi. Whitirēia has a carving of the ancestor Paikea on top.
