- Description
New Years greeting postcard shows the knee, lower leg sock and shoe of a man, the hem of whose kilt and the tip of whose sporran can be seen at upper right. The man is striding through falling snow, and his green tartan sock is holed at the heel.
The verso has a handwritten message from Jack to Mr W Rodger, schoolmaster at Duntroon (Otago): "Dear Will, Your note to hand. I am sending you the bike tonight Thursday will put pump connection in bag[?] Received here all right. Come early tomorrow. I want to see you soon. Send Lottie tomorrow morning I'll meet her. Busy inspecting creamery.. might go with you Saturday. All well Jack".
