Description

Programme cover shows an illustration by N.I. (probably Corporal N Isaac who also designed the scenery) of a performer in pierrot costume peeping out between two stage curtains with an alarmed expression on his face. The proscenium arch has a Maori design, with a tiki at the ridgepole position and carved figures down the supporting posts. A logo of a silver fern in a dark circle is beside the words "Divisional Theatre". The inside spread lists items, including movies (an animated gazette, and "The master touch" (Wallingford series) in 2 parts), and eleven live items including sketches. The names of the pierrots and orchestra are given on the back of the programme. The musical director was Lieut D A Kenny and the stage manager and producer was Spr. Theodore Trezise.
