- Description
Horizontal poster advertising the Adams Bruce chain of bakeries or cake shops in Christchurch shows three jam rolls on a blue plate, and a pile of three different cakes cut in half so as to reveal their texture. The food stands on a fringed cloth.
In 1922, Adams Bruce had four Christchurch shops, so this poster dates from a little later, but before 1929 when Ernest Adams took over Adams Bruce in the South Island.
