Frames 1 to 9 show groups of school dental nurses during their protest at low pay and work conditions. One group have a placard reading "Taranaki." In the background of frame 2 the executive wing of Parliament (the Beehive) is seen under construction. The statue of premier Richard John Seddon is seen in front of Parliament buildings in frames 1, 3 and 9. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
