Large circular label shows a head and shoulders portrait illustration of a smiling woman in a striped strapless swimsuit with the harbour, city and hills of Wellington behind her. The transmission towers on the hill may be on Mt Victoria or the wireless station on Tinakori Hill.
Exhibited in ‘Humble: the life of 100 small objects’, exhibition curated by Barbara Lyon, in the Turnbull Gallery, National Library of New Zealand, 27 August - 17 November 2017.
Date estimated from the woman's hairstyle with 1940s quiff.
