Collection of both colour, and black and white, photographic prints relating to surf life saving in New Zealand.

Subjects depicted include group portraits of subjects in uniform and various individuals.

Photographers and studios include: Taranaki Herald, Crago Photography (Devon Street, New Plymouth), Fred Lang Studios (Wharf Street, Tweed Head), Robuck Studio (Ridgway Street, W[h]anganui), and Leicograph Studios (221 Cuba Street, Wellington).
