- Description
Frame one is a view of Oriental Bay, possibly from McFarlane Street. Frames 2 to 11 all show stages in the demolition of the Chief Post Office, Wellington, between Customhouse Quay and Featherston Street. The last image is the reflection of the demolition in a window which has "Pilling coming" drawn on the outside. Also a sign for "Temperzone, Skirting Heaters" on the corner. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
