Typescript draft for a chapter in 'The Maori, yesterday and today' publication titled 'The Pao-miere: A King Country cult to combat makutu' including 'He karakia makutu' in te reo Māori with an English translation by Hare Hongi (Henry Stowell) with a note at the end of it from Stowell saying "Dear Jim: You have hurried me; but that is what he would have said in English. You must read between the lines - where necessary. Kia ora. Hare Hongi".
