- Description
Frames 1 to 9 show workmen with "Road works" signs, using various machines near the intersection of Wakefield Street and Cambridge Terrace. The Criterion Hotel is seen in the background (frames 2 to 5), and the Central Fire Station (frames 1, 6, 7 and 9). Frames 9 to 12 show a man leaning on a wall while standing at the entrance of a two-storeyed villa, another man is working in the garden above the level of the street. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
