- Description
All views were taken in Jervois Quay, Post Office Square, and Customhouse Quay. Frames 1, 2, and 4 to 7 show a paperboy with his pile of newspapers to be sold, watched by a policeman (frame 2). Frames 3 and 10 show the small building in Post Office Square which used to be a tram drivers resthouse (frame 3 shows staff in the ticket booth). NAC Air Centre building and Harbour Board buildings are seen in frames 8, 9, 11 and 12. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
