Horse stud at East Tamaki, established by business tycoon Sir Woolf Fisher (1912-1975) in 1937. From the early 1950s it became one of the driving forces of the country's thoroughbred breeding industry. In 2001 the stud was disbanded, and the land rezoned to develop it into Highbrook Business Park.
