Images taken by Ida Downard in March 1958, relating to a trip to Taranaki, a visit to Turakina Maori Girls' College, Marton, and a November 1958 trip to the Hamilton Assembly [Presbyterian Church]. Locations featured include Awakino Gorge, Mokau River, Mount Messenger, Hawera, Turakina Maori Girls' College and Chapel, and Pukerua Bay, Wellington. One image shows the Aunts and one shows Essie, in Hawera. One images shows Ida's car, which she called 'Neddy', on Mount Messenger. Includes one purchased slide New Zealand in Colour by N. Halwell 'Road Tunnel, Mount Messenger'.
