Shows scenes at a Ringatu gathering and unveiling on a marae in Ruatoki North, Bay of Plenty, in 1972. Nine negative frames show children standing around a metal drum [probably a hangi] and eating. Three negative frames show people sitting at a table eating inside a building.
Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
Source of descriptive information - notes written by Westra, accompanying the corresponding proof sheet. Images are part of a series at AW-0654 to AW-0661, taken for 'Te Reo Rangatira', a Maori language second school text book by Timoti Karetu.
