West Coast, people on the road, including people walking in the rain and a herd of cattle being moved (frames 1 to 4). Frames 5 to 11 show the aftermath of the axemen's contest showing spectators, and men and boys clearing the log chips left from the wood chopping. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
