Frames 1 to 10 show men working on the railway line on the West Coast, with two men on a jigger in frame 10. A young man standing beside a large pack, and a young woman sheltering from the sun under an umbrella are waiting by the road near Punakaiki. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
