Arts Conference 1970 held at Victoria University of Wellington from 10th to 13th April 1970. Photographs taken in 1970 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified.
Frames two and four show the chairman of the Canada Council of the Arts, John G Prentice; and in frame six (on the right) is the Chairperson of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, Joan [i.e. Mary] MacKenzie.

Source of descriptive information - Ans Westra gave the name "Joan McKenzie" with a question mark, as being the Chairperson Of the Academy of Fine Arts. the book "Arts Conference 70 : Policy into action" lists members of the conference, in which the only person with surname McKenzie is "Mary MacKenzie". (Probably Mary Elizabeth MacKenzie, 1905-2000).
